It's been a few weeks, but I've been busy. Hope all is well with anyone who reads my blog (hi mom)
How many times is this going to happen? Cell phones going off in church. It never fails, a phone goes off each week. The preist doesn't say anything, but you know he ain'ta happy guy.
I am Catholic. The phones seem to go off at the most embarrassing times.
"Do this in memory of me"....is one part of our mass. Sure enough, I hear "Beethoven" in ring tone form go off at that moment.
How about when the preist is sitting quietly, just about to address the church crowd? You sure to hear, "Fanfare" at that moment.
Should people turn their phones off during church? Should they leave them in the car (like I do?) Is it really a matter of life and death if you miss a call?
How does your congregation deal with this?

Are those moving?
Weird post today. Did you ever notice on a windy day, if you are close to a tree, you can see it moving in the wind? Sure you did.
Alright, got that situated. But on that windy day, did you notice you can't tell if trees are moving in the distance? It's like it's not even windy a half mile away. They look like they're standing still.
Weird phenomenon!

Bumper Stickers
Love the bumper sticker I saw yesterday. I was walking to my car, after grabbing some things at the grocery store. I looked down at a bumper on the vehicle next to me. It read....
"I'm not speeding...I REALLY have to poop!"
Now, some of you may call me juvenile. But I found it funny. And it reminded me of others I've seen....
"I had a life, but my job ate it"
"Squirrels...nature's little speedbumps"
"Sorry for driving so CLOSE in front of you"
Got any others?
