The Next Jason Kendall?

This really isn't becoming "Radar's Daughter Hailey" type of blog. Seems like it, but being the youngest, she needs a little extra attention.

She tried on the little league catcher gear. yep, when it's her turn, she wants to catch. Yeesh...she's a toughie, so maybe it'll work!

Halloween Costumes

No, it's not the Swine Flu! It's my daughter, Dr. Hailey Hess! Her goal, at the tender kindergarten age, is to be a doctor. She's got her start with this year's Halloween costume choice!

I think she wants to get back at me for all the medicine I've made her take as a kid!

Ugly NFL Jersey's

Where is the NFL going with the uni's? Does Rodger Goodell, the NFL Commish, really approve of the ugly combo's? Take the Seattle Seahawks against the Bears last week, at the top of the page. Awful!

The Houston Texans were just as bad. One solid red...bloodclot looking uni. Huh?

Wood Wasp

Posted a pic of a "wood wasp" on Facebook. Thing is HUGE!

It was in my backyard...have you ever seen this in your yard? I thought it was a killer wasp. Well, did I mention it was HUGE?

End of the Season

Our Mets little league team lost for the second time in the tournament. Diamondbacks beat us 14-4...man, they are a goooooood team. Hope they win it all..then, we can say we lost to the eventual champs.

After winning the first two games in the tourney, we lost to the D-Backs, 6-2.

An emotional rematch with the Marlins was next. Mets won, 7-5...unbelievable game. Next to the championship we won 2 years ago, this was the most incredible game I was a part of.

Our season ended, as I said, last night. Great kids on the Mets this year! I can't wait til next year...I'll be managing the team!!!! Wish me luck.

Hangin with the fam

I'll take a break from talking baseball (First place showdown Tuesday night)

Thought I'd post a pic of the fam, at Big Cedar Lake (West Bend), catchin' small mouth and sun fish.
